How to Delete Typed URLs in Internet Explorer



When you try to enter new addresses in Internet Explorer’s address bar, if there is a similar address that you entered before, the address automatically will appear in a pop down menu.



If you like your privacy and do not want to allow others to see which sites you navigated before and want to delete these addresses permanently, do the following steps:

Step 1

Go to the Start>Run>regedit>Enter or press Win + R to open the Run, then type regedit and hit the Enter key.




Step 2

In the Registry Editor window expand the path below:




Step 3

On the right panel of the window, you can find all the typed URLs that you entered in the Internet Explorer address bar.Right-click on any of them you want, and from the menu, select Delete. When the confirmation message appeared, select "Yes" and the URL will be deleted permanently from the Internet Explorer's address bar.
