Alien Eye is a learning tool or toy for children that
awarded in iF concept design award 2012. The concept can be used for educational
purpose to teach Geography to the children. The device is a combination of an
observation device and a glob. Teaching Geography to the kids always been a big
challenge for the teachers as some children avoid study Geography. But with
Alien Eye learning this subject can be very fun. Children can view different parts of Glob through the observation device and the world
Glob itself integrated in RFID codes. The observation part reads the RFID code
and connects to the Internet to look for images and information according to
the region that has observed on the Glob and shows the pictures on its screen. This
concept designed by Hsin-Ya Huang and Kai-Lan Huang from the National Taiwan
University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan.
