As you know, Microsoft added many features to Windows 7. One of these features is the new shortcut keys. Let review all the new shortcuts in Windows 7. Below is the list of these shortcuts and their use:
Windows Key + Arrow key Up: Maximize window.
Windows Key + Arrow Key Left: Move window to left. By continuously
Windows Key + Arrow Key Right: Move window to right. By continuously
pressing this shortcut, the entire window will move to the right.
Windows Key + Arrow Key Down: Minimize the window or restore
the window.
Ctrl + Windows Key + Arrow Key Left: Jump to left monitor.
Ctrl + Windows Key + Arrow Key Right: Jump to right monitor.
Ctrl + Windows Key: Minimize or restore all opened windows.
T Windows Key +: Focuses on the first window on the taskbar.
Press again, jump to the next window and so on. Pressing T + Shift + Windows
key will roll back to the previous window.
Space + Windows Key: Viewing the Desktop. With this
shortcut, all open windows will transparent so the Desktop is visible.
G + Windows: sorts all existing Gadget in alphabetical
order.
P + Windows: Configures external display such as Mirror,
Extend Desktop etc.
X + Windows Key: Mobility Center like Windows Vista.
Windows Key + #: # is the number of open windows in the
Taskbar. For example, to open the first window in the Taskbar, press Windows
Key +1 and to open the third window, press Windows Key +3.
Windows Key + Plus (+): Zoom window.
Windows Key + Minus (-): Zoom out window.
Alt + P: Shows or hides the preview in any page.
The following combination of Keyboard and Mouse keys are
specific to taskbar setting:
Shift + Click on an icon: Opens a new case.
Click on an icon with Mouse middle key: Opens a new case.
Shift + Ctrl + Click on an icon: Opens a new case with admin
access.
Shift + Right click on a group of icons: Shows the View Menu
that contains the Restore All, Minimize All, Move All etc.
Ctrl + Click on a group of icons: Cycle through the windows
of the group.
