Intel Nikiski is the latest Intel ultrabook concept that
instead of the palm rest and touchpad it has a transparent touchscreen
ultrabook. When the laptop is close, the transparent touchpad becomes a fully
functional touchscreen that you can use to interact with your computer. You can
read your emails, surf the Internet, check your social network accounts or
even look up a meeting. When the laptop is open, it acts as an ordinary laptop
and the transparent touchscreen converts to an ultra wide track pad. It has
20mm thickness, 1.4kg weight and 5 hours battery life. Intel says the concept
is under development and would be available in the market very soon.
